Speechless

Not sure what to think when I saw my mom presumably going on a date with the man who helps us do our taxes. It’s obvious to me that he likes her, but I thought my mom had sworn off relationships/dating, so I guess I’m a little surprised. I feel like a nosy parents, wanting to get all the info I can — reading her texts, asking around, interrogating the guy about his intentions. It’s not wrong to be so protective of my mother, is it? Maybe I should start phoning her every waking second demanding to know where she is and who she’s with and what she’s doing like she’s done to me for the last 25 years. She how she likes it.
