Being inspired by peer writing

23 09 2012

I’ve spent the entire weekend reading my peers’ fiction, and I gotta say, it’s inspiring.  Not only do I not feel as bad as a fiction writer, a genre I’ve never been confident writing in, but I have the motivation to actually write something (which I need to do soon, as I have my first assignment due in a few weeks…).

So if you’re ever down in the dumps about your writing or you’re you need inspiration — don’t read Margaret Atwood and be intimidated at what you will never be able to accomplish.  Read your friends’ writing.  Do it!
